Meditation & Depression

(Written in September 2010)
While driving I listened to “The Mindful Way through Depression.” He was talking about meditation and pointed out that there was no goal and no ‘right’ way to meditate. The point is the practice of knowing when your mind has wandered and bringing it back to the breath. I’ve heard it before, but this time I think I really got it. I’m going to set my timer for 10 minutes and “be with” my breath without a goal for that time.
