Good group for dancing last night. I went through the jukebox & wrote down dances we haven’t done in a while. I picked a few of them & also asked for requests. Surprised myself by doing a fairly lively program: Jacob’s Ladder, Az, lively Kyrie.
The core of the centerpiece was the candle & flowers & some items from Iona’s celebration. Linda had put candles around it with symbols of different religions. Sufi group had contributions from members about different religious groups & figures. We sang the Peace Mandala chants along with the tape. It was a good lead-in to our dance celebration.
It amazes me that I have so much energy for dancing and so little for the rest of my life.
