I’ve been thinking a lot about stories recently. Stories that strengthen us, and stories that just dig us deeper into the mud. It’s very important to be able to distinguish helpful stories from unhelpful ones, because it’s the story that we tell about it that makes the meaning of an event and therefore lifts our spirits or drains them.
