{"id":8279,"date":"2024-01-19T10:34:56","date_gmt":"2024-01-19T15:34:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jennydeupree.com\/?p=8279"},"modified":"2024-01-19T13:17:25","modified_gmt":"2024-01-19T18:17:25","slug":"help-from-inner-teacher-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jennydeupree.com\/?p=8279","title":{"rendered":"Help from Inner Teacher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear <a href=\"https:\/\/jennydeupree.com\/?p=7243\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Inner Teacher<\/a>, I\u2019m feeling lost, confused, disconnected, uncomfortable, irritable.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I really need some help!<\/p>\n<p>Dear Jenny, relax.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Your meditation of imagining a prostration on the out breath, of emptying your self, or demonstrating \u201cThy will be done\u201d \u2014 with the complete surrender of your body \u2014<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>This is a great practice.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Go ahead and keep doing it.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Yes, the Divine is using you to help the world, you don\u2019t need to do any more than what you are already doing.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>As you suspected, your uncomfortable feelings are being picked up from others.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>You tend to think that everyone else is doing fine and you are the only one stumbling around, but it\u2019s not true.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>You live in a culture where many people \u2014 especially those who are wealthy and upper class \u2014 are busy \u201clooking good\u201d and doing their best to tamp down their discomfort into denial.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>These are exactly the conditions under which a sensitive person like you picks up all the denied feelings.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The times are very difficult with ongoing war, global warming, destruction of the environment.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Your job is to bring<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>compassion to yourself and to the discomfort of all who are not feeling appropriate feelings of fear and anger, but instead feeling the denial of these feelings which is the very uncomfortable irritable feeling that you pick up and find very unpleasant and unfamiliar.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It is not something you feel because you have always preferred to face the truth.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Dear one, you are doing just fine for the world you love.<\/p>\n<p>Thank You.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Inner Teacher, I\u2019m feeling lost, confused, disconnected, uncomfortable, irritable.\u00a0 I really need some help!
