This surprised me a lot. \u00a0But it makes sense. \u00a0My uncomfortable feelings this morning were so strange. \u00a0I couldn’t figure them out and I’ve never felt this way before. \u00a0Here’s what I wrote this morning.<\/p>\n

Dear Inner Teacher, I\u2019m having trouble staying focussed on anything.\u00a0 <\/span>Odd confusing thoughts and feelings.\u00a0 <\/span>Can you help me?<\/p>\n
Dear Jenny, you are picking up on the feelings of Republicans and others who believed Trump, but are now beginning to get how wrong they were.\u00a0 <\/span>Very confusing and disturbing time for them.\u00a0 <\/span>Lostness and anger.\u00a0 <\/span>Hold on to the lovingkindness prayer.\u00a0 <\/span>You will have the support of people all over the planet who are doing metta at this moment.\u00a0 <\/span>Doing it for yourself is as important as doing it for all beings.\u00a0 <\/span>Dear Jenny there are many of us around you and supporting you.\u00a0 <\/span>We are sorry that it\u2019s so hard for you to feel our presence.\u00a0 <\/span>This is not your fault<\/span>.\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s a consequence of your wounding.\u00a0 <\/span>Keep going as you have been.\u00a0 <\/span>Even just trying to change your thought is helping.\u00a0 <\/span>But it might be better to find compassion for those who feel confused and lost and angry.<\/p>\n
