Just meditated for about half an hour.\u00a0 <\/span>Tried to hineinhorchen, to listen within.\u00a0 <\/span>Asked Inner Teacher for help.\u00a0 <\/span>Paid attention to the sound of snow blower.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Reminded of planes.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cGod comes disguised as our life.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>What was God trying to teach me through the plane noise?\u00a0 <\/span>To accept, listen, pay attention, instead of push away.\u00a0 <\/span>Remembering that moment of seeing all the names of people who responded to what I said on facebook, and feeling loved.\u00a0 <\/span>Really feeling<\/span> it as sensation, warmth and being held.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I reacted very badly<\/a> to the sound of small planes for 14 years.<\/p>\n

I went through my posts for the last six months or so. In protest against facebook’s allowing misinformation, I stayed logged out most of the time, only logging in when there was something \u2014 usually activist \u2014 I felt was really important. I saw that a few friends had responded to almost every post. So I posted this on facebook: “Dear Friends who’ve responded to my posts, thank you so much!\u00a0 <\/span>Warms my heart, which I badly need in these dark times,” and got 48 responses.
