Yesterday was an odd day.\u00a0<\/span>It felt disjointed somehow, things did not go smoothly or naturally.\u00a0<\/span>I think I kept want to \u201cwrite my way down to a truth\u201d and not getting to it until finally, just before 3:00 when we went out with dogs.\u00a0 <\/span>I got down\u00a0 <\/span>to the important thing.\u00a0 <\/span>Two things.\u00a0 <\/span>One was Matt<\/a> saying that the wounded parts need to be held, not healed.\u00a0 <\/span>The other was just a flash of knowing that Who I am, wounds and all, is fine.\u00a0 <\/span>I simply can\u2019t find the words for it.\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m going to have to track down the Vet\u2019s story<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span>I used to think that I had to be healed from the trauma in order to \u201chave a life.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Now I see that I have spent my life in the service of truth.\u00a0 <\/span>Not in the attempt to do something \u201cimportant\u201d in the eyes of the world.\u00a0 <\/span>In a sense I gave that up when I saw that \u201cWritten in Blood<\/a>\u201d was coming from a wrong motive.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cTo prove that I deserve to live.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>I dropped it, and felt a huge hole in my life, but that was just as Neskaya<\/a> was coming into being.\u00a0 <\/span>Teaching Sacred Dance at Neskaya was clearly my vocation.\u00a0 <\/span>But now I\u2019m seeing that rescuing Little Jennys is also a vocation, and it might not have happened if I hadn\u2019t come to Kendal \u2014 shepherded just as clearly by the Universe as it guided me to Stonehenge<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span>The pandemic was also a factor, driving me in on myself and forcing the appearance of all the terrified ones<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span>I see the whole universe conspiring to guide me on this path, and at the same time I see myself doing it for everyone else, and everyone else working with me to create the wider, more inclusive, participatory, sacred cosmos.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cI am not a somebody, I am not a nobody, I\u2019m a cell in one body filling all space…\u201d<\/p>\n [“I am not a somebody…” is from a song we do a dance to called “Child of the Universe<\/a>.”]<\/p>\n \u201cWider\u201d because it\u2019s bigger and more complex than the Big Bang theory<\/a>, \u201cmore inclusive\u201d because Black Lives Matter<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cParticipatory\u201d because, as Stuart Kauffman<\/a> says \u201cWe make our world with one another, you, me and the goldfish.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cSacred\u201d because God, Spirit, Creator did not create the Universe but became<\/span><\/a> the Universe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Thursday, November 4 Yesterday was an odd day.\u00a0It felt disjointed somehow, things did not go smoothly or naturally.\u00a0I think I kept want to \u201cwrite my way down to a truth\u201d and not getting to it until finally, just before 3:00 … Continue reading
