\nWoke scared.\u00a0 I say to myself \u201cThis is a trauma based world view.\u201d I say \u201ceverything\u2019s gonna be all right.\u201d I say \u201cMother is dead, she can\u2019t hurt you now.\u201d
\nSaw Dave yesterday for Somatic Experiencing.\u00a0 I think I got caught in being afraid I was doing it \u201cwrong.\u201d I felt so weak and wimpy when I got home, I just ate lunch, but couldn\u2019t get myself to go out with the dog.\u00a0 I started reading Guidance \u201804 to comfort myself.\u00a0 It really helped!\u00a0 Especially the reminder of the traumatized world view: the Universe is Malevolent, Life is Meaningless, and the Self is Unworthy.\u00a0 O yes, that\u2019s exactly how I felt.\u00a0 So then I reminded myself that I don\u2019t believe that.\u00a0 I may get caught in feeling it, but I really believe that the Universe is Benevolent, Life is Meaningful, and the Self is Worthy.\u00a0 So then I began to feel better and went out with the dog (& walked to the new culvert) and did errands downtown.<\/p>\n
