Ingrid Bacci wrote a book called The Art of Effortless Living<\/em>.\u00a0 I liked it, so in March of 2008 I went to her workshop at Kripalu. I signed up for a private session, and it was pretty amazing.\u00a0 Here are my journal entries:<\/p>\n

Energized.\u00a0 Invigorated.\u00a0 Every cell blazing with energy.\u00a0 My feminist anger has been reawakened!\u00a0 I did a session with Ingrid yesterday afternoon.\u00a0 She\u2019s a medical intuitive and does bodywork.\u00a0 She said the tiredness was not organic, that my father was still holding me down.\u00a0 When she said \u201cWhere do you feel your father in your body?\u201d I writhed with disgust.\u00a0 He\u2019s in my upper chest, a slimy sleazy energy.\u00a0 I raged and roared \u2014 sabotaged by coughing.\u00a0 But I did the work.\u00a0 After the session it seemed like the sleazy energy was on the surface, not under my skin, and I imagined peeling it off like duct tape.<\/p>\n

Yes, I can feel the anger blazing through me, and it\u2019s not up in my head, it\u2019s in my chest and upper arms.\u00a0 Kali Durga Namo Nama!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s really amazing is how the energy is blazing from my chest and shoulders and upper arms, calm and strong in my legs, cool in my head.<\/p>\n

I want to work on a new version of my autobiography \u201cHow I came to find god in myself, and learned to love her fiercely.\u201d Oh!\u00a0 I can use my idea of a circular book, and Lore\u2019s of a book of goddesses. How about Insect-mother as goddess of Dead Death and Kali Durga as Goddess of Death & Rebirth and Mama Greene as Goddess of Nourishment.\u00a0 Karen!\u00a0 Laura Shannon!\u00a0 Deena Metzger!\u00a0\u00a0 Lore, Kayla, Beverly, Lynelle.\u00a0 Joanna Macy.\u00a0 Elizabet Sahtouris.\u00a0 Vandana Shiva.\u00a0 O my O my!!\u00a0\u00a0 How about Bella and Shenanigan.\u00a0 Artemis Huntress as Goddess of the Moon.\u00a0 And there\u2019s the excitement again.\u00a0 But in my chest, not my head.<\/p>\n

Also, when my energy gets really quenched: 1) lie on the ground, completely give weight to Mother Earth as I did in my dance, relax, surrender completely for as long as is needed.\u00a0 2) Throw off the Oppressive Father God, peel his slime off your body, it is not part of you, it is stuck on the outside.\u00a0 They tore the Bastille stone from stone.\u00a0 I too can throw off oppression and dance for joy.<\/p>\n
