My house has a cupola.\u00a0 It\u2019s not big enough to climb into,\u00a0\"cupola\"<\/a>
\nbut it has a light.\u00a0 When they were building the house,
\nand I was living across the street at Neskaya, Greg put a\u00a0work light in the cupola so I could see it from across
\nthe street.\u00a0 It gave me a nice warm feeling, like there
\nwas somewhere safe to go.\u00a0 There\u2019s been a light up there ever since, except for a couple of times when I
\nwas so badly depressed I felt that my light had
\ngone out.\u00a0 Most of the time I see it as a symbol, like the Statue of Liberty I hold my torch high to say that another world is possible.<\/p>\n

Sitting here thinking about the light in the cupola, how it supports me emotionally, and the fire supports me too, even tho it\u2019s not as efficient to add logs slowly.\u00a0 I feel bad about the \u201cwaste of resources\u201d and tune into the elementals \u2014\u2014 and they say they are glad to give to support me emotionally.\u00a0 \u201cThis is what wealth is for, to support the soul.\u201d There\u2019s a spirit in this house that holds and comforts me, loves and supports me.\u00a0 So much love has gone into the building of it \u2014 and now I find it\u2019s all still here, surrounding me with warmth.\u00a0 I do my best to take it in.<\/p>\n

Dear Guides and Guardian Spirits, I\u2019m pretty totally discouraged and bummed out.\u00a0 I\u2019m ready to quit and stop trying.<\/p>\n

Dear Jenny, it\u2019s absolutely fine for you to \u201cquit\u201d and \u201cstop trying\u201d.\u00a0 You are making a passage, and you know how to do this passage, and it means complete surrender \u2014 which is not the same thing as \u201cquitting\u201d.\u00a0 Yes, stop \u201ctrying\u201d, trying and effort are getting you no where.\u00a0 You must just trust that there is a process and it is carrying you through.\u00a0 We think you should do art, as best you can without pushing yourself.\u00a0 Turning your light off is OK, as a signal that you are in retreat, but your light is not really off.\u00a0 In offering yourself to the process of darkness, descent, not-knowing, not-doing, you are still a beacon in dark times.\u00a0 All the damage in the world is being done by people who are refusing to make this passage.<\/em><\/p>\n
