Dear Guides and Guardian Spirits, I\u2019m feeling sad and don\u2019t know why.\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s just being too tired to do fun things like they did Thursday night \u2014 flash mob, dinner at Cold Mtn.\u00a0 Please help me.
\n\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Dear Jenny, you are greatly loved.\u00a0 It\u2019s true that you are slowing down, and don\u2019t have as much energy as you used to.\u00a0 And lots of things aren\u2019t interesting to you at this point because you no longer care what the \u201ctruth\u201d is \u2014 the question of extra-terrestrials visiting our planet is one \u2014 it doesn\u2019t really make a difference to you whether they did or didn\u2019t.\u00a0 You have accepted the mystery of life.\u00a0 Yes, it\u2019s right to be sad that you haven\u2019t got enough energy to carry out all the art projects you\u2019d like to do.\u00a0 Even so, we think that you should do as much as you can, because it\u2019s fun.\u00a0 Practice enjoying your daily life as much as you can.\u00a0 We<\/span> love<\/span> you<\/span>.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nI typed up a guidance from a month ago and it\u2019s very interesting.\u00a0 My Spirits remind me that many issues I used to wonder about \u2014 such as whether or not we have been visited by extraterrestrials or even descended from extraterrestrials \u2014 I used to want to know what the truth was.\u00a0 At that time I was mostly living in my head, and trying to \u201cfigure it out\u201d and find evidence for what was \u201cright\u201d were important to me.\u00a0 I really struggled with issues like what happens after we die, and whether the founding energy of the universe was power, or love, or just blind growth.\u00a0 I don\u2019t exactly know when that changed.\u00a0 I think Somatic Experiencing had a lot to do with it, because I\u2019ve been learning from experience<\/span> about the wisdom of my body, the wisdom of the unconscious, the wisdom of the Creation \u2014 meaning all the galaxies and stars, and planets and plants and animals \u2014 the wisdom of the \u201cprocess\u201d for lack of a better word. The mantra \u201cI offer myself to this process\u201d was given to me at Kripalu, and it felt right to me.\u00a0 \u201cThy will be done\u201d was much too difficult since my first image of God was of the Big Old Man up there on his throne, judgemental and punitive.\u00a0 The Process, the amazing process that carries me along, that brings what I need for my healing when I am ready, that surprises me with radical serendipitous and synchronicitous (are they the same? probably) happenings.\u00a0 I find that I can listen to stories of what happens after death \u2014 we go on in the same personality and meet our dead friends, or we go through a time of testing and learning before we get into \u201cheaven,\u201d or maybe I lose everything of the personality I think of as \u201cme\u201d, and the energy I have embodied, and hopefully changed for the better during my lifetime, goes on to reclothe itself in another body and continue the Work.\u00a0 Once I tried to imagine a \u201cheaven\u201d where I could be happy, and I couldn\u2019t imagine anywhere I\u2019d want to be other than Planet Earth at a time when we humans understand that there are no enemies, that our differences can be celebrated, that our planet is a gloriously beautiful life support system, and our purpose is to support, enhance, and celebrate it and the creatures \u2014 whales, bears, dogs, spiders, grass, trees, flowers \u2014 we live beside.\u00a0 This is the only image I have that satisfies me.\u00a0 All the other stories are just stories, and I\u2019ve begun to know, at some deep level, that the reality we are trying to explain is more beautiful, more amazing, more compassionate, more meaningful, more integrated, than anything we could ever imagine.
\nI think of Ram Dass<\/a> saying, whether it\u2019s the New Age or the Apocalypse, \u201cI will quiet my mind, open my heart, and bring compassion to the beings that I see before me.\u00a0 So it doesn\u2019t matter what happens.\u201d\u00a0 No matter what comes next, I will do my best to show up and be present, pay attention, tell the truth, and let go of the outcome.\u00a0 (Four rules for living by Angeles Arrien<\/a>.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
