\nDear Guides and Guardian Spirits, I\u2019m feeling an urge to push ahead with applying to have an art show and getting an \u201cabout Jenny\u201d page up on the website.\u00a0 I keep losing my energy due to fearing that this is some kind of \u201cblowing my own horn\u201d and not helpful to the big picture.\u00a0 Please help me with this.
\n\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Dear Jenny, it\u2019s fine for you to blow your own horn.\u00a0 Who else\u2019s would you blow?\u00a0 \u201cMyself it speaks and spells, crying what I do is me for this I came.\u201d Putting your art work out there, putting out the realities of your life so that these things can be resources for people who need it, is part of the ongoing evolution of the universe.\u00a0 The work you do \u2014 on yourself, at Neskaya, with your art making \u2014 is very important work, despite the fact that it is not visible in the general culture.\u00a0 It is important that you put it out there, so that others like you will know they aren\u2019t alone, and that many things are possible.\u00a0 Do not hold back.\u00a0 Do not let your brother\u2019s remarks stop you.\u00a0 He is jealous of you as your mother was, he doesn\u2019t understand you at all and this makes him angry.\u00a0 He is trying to shrink you to make you fit his capacity for understanding.\u00a0 Don\u2019t take his remarks to heart.\u00a0 Keep on going, and remember we love and support you.<\/em><\/p>\n

The support of my Spirits led to writing an “About Jenny” page and posting it on the Neskaya website.\u00a0 I got positive feedback, and that led ultimately to me doing this blog.
\nThe Art Show<\/a> happened in May 2007.
\n“What I do is me for this I came” is a line from a poem by Gerard Manley Hopkins<\/a>.\u00a0 First verse:<\/p>\n

AS kingfishers catch fire, dragonflies dr\u00e1w fl\u00e1me;<\/em>
