\nHad a bad shock yesterday.\u00a0 I was reading Deena Metzger\u2019s book (From Grief to Vision) & there was something about the peat bogs in Siberia releasing methane as they melt \u2014 an irreversible process \u2014 it may already be too late.\u00a0 Suddenly I went into hopeless\/helpless\/freeze.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t do a thing \u2014 not cut Bella\u2019s nails, deal with paperwork, bring in wood.\u00a0 I sat on the couch staring & finally thought I\u2019d better go over to Neskaya, to Kayla & Ellen, & get help.\u00a0 So I did.\u00a0 I also took flower essences: Elm, Star of Bethlehem, Heart Support, PTSD.\u00a0 I told them what I was upset about, & cried & got hugs.\u00a0 Then I saw that I was in the state of a baby whose Mom has left: \u201cShe\u2019s never coming back!\u201d Then I curled up on the couch with tea and The Mists of Avalon.\u00a0 It took a while, but I did recover, but I stayed weak & shaky all day.<\/p>\n
Last night\u2019s program was terrific.\u00a0 Noah had emailed that he was bringing some people he works with who are from South America, so we put together a South American program.\u00a0 The joyous energy really brought me back up: Quirquinchos de Corazon!\u00a0 Tres Golpes!\u00a0 There were 4 students \u2014 2 from Brazil, 2 from Argentina.\u00a0 One of them pointed to the armadillos (from Oaxaca) on the center and said they were \u201cquirquinchos\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
