{"id":1105,"date":"2011-02-18T16:27:31","date_gmt":"2011-02-18T21:27:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jennydeupree.com\/?p=1105"},"modified":"2011-02-18T16:27:31","modified_gmt":"2011-02-18T21:27:31","slug":"enjoying-the-happiness-of-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jennydeupree.com\/?p=1105","title":{"rendered":"Enjoying the Happiness of Others"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(Written in February 2011)<br \/>\nHad a moment of revelation yesterday.\u00a0 Driving through the Notch I saw skiers coming down Gary&#8217;s and Zoomer, bright waves of snow behind them.\u00a0 First I felt jealous (I haven\u2019t skied for years because of balance problems) then I remembered\/imagined how good it felt to do that, then I was happy for them.\u00a0 I could just participate in their happiness without having to do it myself.\u00a0 I have such wonderful memories of skiing, and I realize after a whole day of skiing, memories are all I have.\u00a0 Why not enjoy them and not ask for more?
