Callanish Stone Circle, Island of Lewis, Scotland<\/p><\/div>\n

A magical journey to the stone circles, mounds,\u00a0and holy wells of Scotland, Ireland, Wales,\u00a0Cornwall and Brittany<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sacred Sites is an audio-visual presentation of places that have been sacred since the Neolithic Age.\u00a0 They are organized according to the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water: Earth mounds, stone circles, fire mountains, holy wells. \u00a0The presentation includes images, music and commentary.\u00a0 It takes 30 minutes.\u00a0 Afterward there is another half hour when people can ask questions, and we can look again at specific sites.<\/p>\n

Mount Knocknarae, Ireland<\/p><\/div>\n

In this audio-visual presentation we will travel to Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain, to the circle of Callanish in the outer Hebrides, to the Cairn of Queen Maeve on the west coast of Ireland.\u00a0 We will see stone circles in Wales and Cornwall, holy wells in Brittany and Wales.<\/p>\n

Mont Saint Michel, France<\/p><\/div>\n

The creator and presenter of Sacred Sites is Jenny Deupree.\u00a0 She has a degree in Astronomy from Wellesley College, and first saw Stonehenge in 1964.\u00a0 Since then she has travelled extensively in Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany.\u00a0 In this presentation she talks about the astronomy of Neolithic times, which is much more accurate than we realize.\u00a0 She has also written a book, The Feminine of History is Mystery<\/a>, which describes journeys to the sites, both real and imaginative.
